Hey everyone. A quick update/summary from the regional meeting that PI and I attended this week.
The first and most important thing I took from this meeting is that we should be ATSAP-ing everything. From personal incidents, to a poorly managed runway change, or working conditions, etc. To the max extent possible, SUPs must give you extra time to fill them out. People are actually reading them I promise. Including the LSC. (Once we figure out how to log into the portal) We have an LSC meeting coming up Thursday 5/30, anyone can attend. Check webscheduler for the time.
A few other things of note. Near and dear to my heart is the issue of PROCs. PI and I learned alllll about them and we came back with a checklist that we should be looking at every time we think we might be getting one.
I have extra checklists that will be in my locker and the NATCA office when we get that back.
Here are the basics:
- Must be observed by your sup directly
- Must be a trend. NOT a specific event
- Cannot be from an MOR
- If you file an ATSAP for an incident, they cannot discipline you for it
I’m still waiting on a few responses for the communication survey. If you haven’t already please answer the 1 question by Sunday so the LEB can get things going.
